Ok, so I'm trying to get my '74 Duster with factory power disc brakes (up front) back on the road so the brakes definitely needs to get worked on. The pedal doesn't feel right.

So far this is what I have done:

  1. Removed the TCI Roll Stop device and replaced it with a union
  2. Inspected the calipers, rotors, wheel cylinders, and drums
  3. Bled the brakes

After the inspection, I realized I need the following:

  1. rotors
  2. pads
  3. shoes
  4. wheel cylinders (one is leaky and has no pressure)

At this point, I don't know if I should keep it stock or upgrade the rotors to 11.75" size. The only problem with that, I can't seem to find the right slider caliper adapters. I've checked 3 local wrecking yards with no luck.

I think I have the 10" drums (maybe someone can verify that) and I'm having a tough time figuring out which wheel cylinders to order on Rock Auto. Not sure if I have the 15/16 bore or not.

Anyway, any suggestions on the wheel cylinders and if I should stick to stock rotors or upgrade, and if I do upgrade have any hints on where to get the corresponding factory slider adapters?

Thanks!
