There is a rumor that Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown has shut down racing operations for the rest of the year, and their pit area is being used to store cars flooded by hurricane Harvey.
Has anyone else heard this?

I heard they were using a racetrack to store abandoned, flood damaged cars. I didn't catch the name of the track.

That's what they did when Lyons CO flooded a couple years ago.

It is closed they will be making more money storing the flooded cars
But if you are local to the Houston area evadale raceway and pinevalley are great tracks
I actually prefer them over royal purple
But I like index racing

I've never raced Evedale but I love Pine Valley. Will be there 1st weekend in Oct. for team finals, really looking forward to it!
