Prior to diving in to rust repair I want to know which cars share body parts with the 65 Valiant Convert. Specifically doors and trunk lid. Are there any other cars that these parts were interchangable with?

Your 65 Valiant shares some of the same sheetmetal that 64-65 Barracudas use. The lower parts of the outer doorskin and the lower parts of the quarter panels are the same. I think the trunklid is a Valiant only piece, but I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong about that one.

All 63-66 valiants use the same doors for hardtop, convertible, and barracuda. The conv. does have some extra parts in the door jam (anti-rattle parts) also, the fenders for 64-65 barracuda and 65 valiant anything are the same. The rear quarters are all interchangeable for those as well. Hoods for 64-65 barracuda and all 65 valiants are the same. For the most part, all 63-66 a-body mechanical stuff is the same. Hope this helps, david

Driveshafts don't interchange. The Valiant and Barracuda sat on the 108 inch wheelbase, the Dart on 111.

Similarly, I don't expect that rear floor pans would interchange. I'm not so sure on that. The rear floor on the Dart seems larger than on the Valiant.

Thanks for the help guys, I just found; driver door, passanger door, exhaust manifold and trunk lid in the local junk yard!
