At the Mopar Super Swap today in Melbourne Florida.

Guy was asking me about the JD farmer hat I had on, He had an IH hat on.

As we were talking, was looking at his parts for sale.

Hmmmm.... those are freshly hot tanked 302 closed chamber heads.

Yeah I will take those for that very reasonable price, guides are good, comes with cut valves, 318 roller cam, roller lifters, and spider, roller valve springs and keepers.

And a .010 under 318 crankshaft that I was needing too.

Always good to know what it is that you are looking for... then it magically appears.

Here is what I scored when I went back in.

Aluminum 1" single high flow radiator, and factory shroud that fits the '89 Truck.

Dash with working louvers that I need. Kickdown linkage parts for 4 bbl upgrades. Right fender trim piece that I need for the '89.

Roller needle bearing lifters and spider hold down assembly, roller push rods and the factory roller valve springs.

Truck carpet set going to try and die Buckskin color like I did the glove box lid and headliner board.

Amazing inexpensive pricing, everything for under $200.00

Wasn't going to get much this year, but at these prices and the good quality parts > how can you not?

That set of 302 heads are an easy 500.00 just in themselves, then being at the show so no shipping either.

Pretty good savings on everything.

Not at the super swap but this was my score from last weekend at the wrecking yard!

the 2 66/67 A body 67 B body full seat frames are amazing, So Cal quality, The seat base is more of an east coast thing.

Not in the photo is the complete 67-69 Barracuda folding rear seat latch mechanism.

Here is the flip side of the 302 heads, even had a tag on them > "Pressure Tested".

The 4 outside exhaust manifold studs that go into the water jacket look perfect yet, and no stripped or broken bolts... clean threads.

Nice that they are all cleaned up, makes them nice to work on.

Saturday the final sweep at the swap.

A whole box of kickdown linkages, turnbuckle, and intake linkage brackets. 20 bucks.

A year correct computer just in case to run the non-essential items. Already have one wire ignition and one wire Alternator charging system.

Was a good show and swap, good to see it going again this year.

Just reminiscing with a friend tonight after the successful Mopar Parts Swap Show this weekend.

Considering the good deals and good pricing in itself.

Then a person saves from "No Shipping Charges" which is a major consideration in today's world compared to bringing in parts from online, especially all the heavy and bulky parts.

Then there is the (no) sales tax thing that I was not being charged at the show.

Shopping at the Swap Show saved a lot in many ways.

More value parts to do mopar projects with, and at the end of the line you get your value back out of your investment when the time comes to part with them.

Fun and Excitement along the way.

By the way ^^^ bought this '69 Satellite from the original owners at Mopars in the Park (Farmington MN) on the Friday of the Mopar Parts Swap. Before the car show on Saturday.

Car was showing for sale just outside the Parts Swap area. Fortunately I was first in line to make contact with the owner that Friday morning and made arrangements to buy the car.

Other people were waiting in line coming in behind me wanting to buy it, and giving the owner their name and phone to be next in line to buy.

I put the custom wheels and tires on it, otherwise it was 100% original with only 34,000 miles on it.

Crazy Lucky to have been even able to own that one.

Enjoy the Mopars

It's a special kind of magic.
