Ok guys,... quick silly question....

I just bought new seat belts for my '67 B'Cuda and one side is retractable the latch side is not. Which one goes on which side. The car didn't have them when I bought it and has bucket seats with the 4spd coffin console.

Another question,... Any suggestion where I can buy bolts. I found one place online and they wanted $75 for a bolt set. I only need the for bolts for the front lap belts. I should have some from my Charger, but would have to replace them eventually.

retrac on the door side, latch side on the console side. I'd think you could find the bolt and washer cheaper than that. Hopefully someone here has a couple spares.

Thanks Zman! Good Point!

If anyone has a set of front belt bolts, let me know what you would want for the set.

Got maybe 6-7 sets of which some are different size heads, shanks and thread size. Any idea of what thread size a 67 takes?

Just checked 13/16 is correct. Just put mine in a few weeks ago, used old bolts 13/16 is what they were.

Here’s a pic of 2 different styles - the large 13/16 head with fine threads and the smaller style head (didn’t measure but maybe about 5/8th) with coarse threads

OK for the good of the group, I went out and checked my bolts They have C-7 tops. Hope that helps.

and.....the thread on mine looks just like the bolt above the C9 bolt head. Like you, mine is on a 67 Barracuda Formula S.

Just put ours in today. Was missing a couple had to rob them from the back seat belts for now. Nobody will be riding back there anyway. But gives me a little time to find some at a decent price.
Just an option if you have belts in the back still.
13/16 In a 1973 Scamp.

And by the way I don't know how old A fellow you are, but I may not be able to move in the morning. Not as flexible as I used to be. Haha.

Another member PM'd me and said he would send me some. Hope they are the right size. I thought I had read that they were all pretty much the same except for collar length.

We shall see I guess! :)

Just spitballing here a little bit, but I've seen a lot of these specialty kind of bolts at the Ace Hardware in the drawers. Like oil plug bolts and just kind of special car bolts. Also the. "help" section at the parts stort. It's where I got my oversized door pins. Some 70s car parts can be very common for many years before and after. Of course unless oe is nnecessary.
