Shifter assembly fitting????

Hi guys does anyone know if I can fit a new shifter assembly piece for mopars year 66-68on my 73 dart sport???I was looking at the pics shifter assembly made for the 60's and comparing them with the setup that fits mine and they pretty much look identical except for the actual shifter knob but im not an expert on the subject so all help is appreciated.can anyone give me some advice or ideas on this??? thanks!!

I always thought they were the same, generally. They do not really wear out easily. Are you adding the automatic floor shifter to your car? If so I'd try and find a used one for cheaper and get the whole setup.

No I had originally taken the old floor shifter apart and had it powder coated, but it along with many other parts were thrown away.
I spoke with a local mopar parts shop in town who said the year 66-68 should fit just fine.
That makes me happy
