Any of you guys or gals using shock extensions? I have a pair of shocks that I want to use on a street/strip Duster(496/4-sp/4.10/SSsprings) but I've ben told that they might be too short(22" hole-hole) I heard about brackets that extend the reach of rear shocks so I'm looking for some input and hopefully some pics. I know FABO has the info. Thanks

Here's a bump for ya.

Like you, I'm interested in hearing the experiences of others who used shock extensions versus buying longer shocks. By the way Mancini Racing and Summit sells them:

I've used them in the past, they add about 2" to overall length, hence a longer extended length. Mopar Chasis book calls for "over 24" of extended length. This about what you'll have with the extensions.

I forgot about these until I saw this post. I made set in the mid 90's for a Stock Eliminator car. It had Tri-City Competition springs on it. We had no problems with them.

Thanks. I'd really love to see a pic of these installed. When I look at the summit listing I have a hard time visualizing how that bracket is going to mate the shock to the mounting stud. Seems like it ought to have a large hole on both ends. Anybody got one?

Here's mine installed.

I should add that the set I made were for the top of the shock, so it looked cleaner.
