show me your shifter link pics please

i need pics of 3 speed in a a body i cant for the life of me figer out y my shifter links are not lining up please help the cross member is right in the way

floor or column, and if floor what shifter and shifter mounting plate are you using? what year car?

Converting over to floor shift? Get ready to find a floor shift hump and cut some holes in the floor. The shift rods go over the cross member and most of their length is inside the car along the floor. Hopefully someone will chime in with pics.

Nonono my car is org a slant 6 3 speed on the floor allready has the hump and all that now i have a 360 infront of the same 3 speed and cant figer out how my rods go

Your missing the three spacers that go between the shifter mounting plate and the boss on the tailshaft.

Do you know about how thick that is?

Dont know, just looking at a pic in the service manual, if I had to guess I'd say they are about 1" to 1 1/4" thick. The shifter should be somewhat centered in the hole in the floor.
