i'm thinking of putting a six pack on my 340 70 dart are there any downfalls such as stock hood clearance thanks bill

Consensus when I was considering it in a '71 Demon, was that it would fit height wise. There were concerns that the air cleaner would not clear a 2 speed wiper motor without modifications to the air cleaner base, or swapping to a 3 speed/variable speed system.

The advantage is the eyewash factor.
The downfall is the outrageous prices for the setup, for little to no hp gain.

This is coming from an owner of a Sixpack car, and another with the maxwedge crossram.
To be honest, for a street car, I'd bet a 750dp on a rpm airgap will perform at least as good as the Sixpack, for about 1/4 to 1/5 the money.

If you HAVE the Sixpack, and the carbs are fresh, run it!

Finding an air cleaner lately is either difficult or expensive, or likely both.
