Just something from many years back that came on my recommended videos list. Ever wonder what something similar to a stroboscopic analyzer would show inside the cylinder of a running engine? Moreover, imagine the data that could be garnered using this along with some pressure transducers on a dyno.

If you go to the YouTube channel of Ben Strader (EFI University I think) and he has videos of in cylinder pressure transducers, how they work and the data they produce.

I forget the number but he found some serious power using them. On an engine he thought was tuned to perfection.

There's a whole lot of visual data there about just how messy un-atomized fuel is in the combustion chamber and how much waste heat it produces.
