I have a 1971 Demon with a big block. I'm having clearance issues with the rear plug on the drivers side with the steering shaft. I'm using fender well headers and a motor plate. Are there stubby spark plugs I could use? Now I'm using autolite AR 73. Or maybe change the steering shaft? Any help would be appreciated.

look up under your dash and you will see some bolts holding the shaft to the firewall, also under the colume at the bottom of the dash there are 2 bolts. you can loosen all these and move the colume over to the left.

Do people use straight plug leads or 90* beds on the spark plug near to the steering rack?

Cheers

Jon
