spool tranmission crossmember install

I am going to the 73 up type trans crossmember on a older car and it appears the mount and crossmember are both capable of bolting on the transmission spun around backwards or facing the wrong direction.
Can someone confirm if I have this correct in the photo or if I need to turn around one or the other?
I am wanting to use the correct transmission location to determine engine location front
to rear. Been looking for a good while and haven't been able to find a photo of one installed.

The insulator and thrubolt goes toward the rear. I have a spool trans mount on my 71 Duster 4 speed. Here's apic.
