I have a 1973 scamp that I have had for years.I get a lot of complements on the looks, hemi orange, black vinyl top white swinger stripe on the rear, real nice parchment interior. The problem is I need some help on how to make it handle better for not a ton of money. The car is all stock suspension, shocks, springs, torsion bars.I did put on poly bushings on it when the engine was out.I had one in the late 70's that handled the same, and was corrected by taking off radial tires and put on bias ply.Thats not an option now.It was a slant 6 and now a 360.same torsion bars, and shumacher engine swap kit.I just thought I would get a few ideas. oh forgot to say it just kind of hops and bobs around on the streets

I know you mentioned your put poly bushings in it but the first thing I'd probably recommend is a good suspension rebuild. Then some good, quality shocks (I use Bilsteins). If you want, look around on the forums for some front sway bars for a '73-76 car.
