Hi guys, I have a 1970 dart that seems to have a ton of slop in the area just above the colum shifter section. It's in the section where the ignition switch is. I looked at some forums and saw there is a bearing in there. Is that the only way the slop would be in that area or is there anything that bolts could be loose.
Also, is this a safety issue or just slop. Im not sure if the steering shaft through there is one peice. The guy who had the car before me yanked the tires pretty dang hard at the drag strip, so I wanna make sure we're safe here.
If it is most definately the bearing, does anyone know where to get new ones? I looked online at the "parts" stores and couldnt find anything.
