How the hell did I get this old..

OK. I have a '68 Charger with power steering. While driving the car, the steering feels notchy (hangups) while turning on the road. But, I can pull in a parking lot and turn figure 8's at 15/20 miles per, and the steering feels like Chrysler steering, very easy without any hangups, at all. I had the front suspension done last year. The car was aligned after the suspension rebuild. I don't know if it's in the box or pump or ???? .. Had suspension look at, and nothing seems out of place. Any help greatly appreciated I like driving this car.
