Stock Oil Pan with 4" stroke

Scat 4",I beam rods and HV oil pump, anyone using the stock pan and windage tray from thier 340? Just a cruiser, no hi rpms.

It's no different than the parts that you are replacing. Except, making sure that the rotating assembly clears everything. I had H-beam rods, had to clearance my block, but I do have a Milodon tray, pickup and pan. Just make sure that you have clearance.

Thx, I put together a 416 with H beams a few years ago and used a Milodon pan and tray, but looking to try and save a few bucks on this 416 build and wanted to see if anyone has been able to use the original pan and tray before I try mocking it up.
 
I built a 426 from a 360 about 1995. I had the 340 windage tray and stock oil pan and had no trouble. I was running stock rods and did have to clearance the block in a couple of places at the bottom of the bores for the rod nuts to clear.
