Stupid Oil Pump Spitting Oil Now

Just got the power steering box to quit leaking and now the oil pump is spitting oil everywhere. Looks like the seal from the pump to block is compromised. Used a brand new Fel Pro gasket with Hi tak. Bout 60 miles on the new build. Guess I don’t really have a question just always something man!!!!!

I had this same issue . The bolts were a tad to long for the blind holes.

I also see your mount bolts are applied wrong. The bolts get the washers and the bolts with washers always go on the block side. Just an FYI

Also if you don't have the original locking nuts use top locks. Your set up will loosen over time and could break an ear on the block. Most important is washer on the block side and top lock nuts not nyloks the plastic lock may soften from heat on a nylok.
