Successful weekend at Ardmore Dragway

Had a good outing at Ardmore Dragway this weekend. Finished in the money for a change and luck was going my way.
Made it to semi finals. I think they had about 64 cars in Footbrake class.
Car that beat me in semi finals won the race. I fell asleep at the light (.05) That's all he needed to drive around me.
I never turned it red in 6 rounds and 2 time trials. A real accomplishment for me, lol! Every time I had a bad light the other guy either broke out or red lit. I'll take it!
It's nice to run the car down the track as many times as I did without having to worry about a nagging oil leak.
Coming weekend at the Motorplex is probably going to get rained out, so next outing will probably be back at Ardmore 1st of May for Windmill Nationals, then Pine Valley for their bracket series.

Congratulations!! Always hard to do. I have more than my share of red lights and naps! It always depends on how that aligns to the other guy's luck. Heck, I won the bracket one time where 4 guys in 7 rounds red-lit against me!
