Just ordered the summit racing disc brake kit Part# DCC-5249444 .Anyone ever ran this kit and I also ordered the green bearing kit.Let me know what you think about them.thanks Ronnie

I'm running the wilwood disc's with green bearings. With any rear disc you can't use the old tapered bearings. I think you must use green bearings that are with the snap ring. Which in think is MO400, not the RP400. I know this as I had the wrong ones when I put my disc's on.
And you can't use the 8 3/4 a body axels that are redrilled as the kits are set up for the axel offset of 2.3.

I used it and it worked fine. Just remember to shim using the washers provided to center the caliber over the rotor. The only problem I had was the lug holes were about .030 too small. I had to drill them out but I did have after market axles with long shank studs.

Good advice on the centering!!

I used standard studs and had to drill the wilwood disc's out as well. I'm running Yukon axles in mine.

My rearend is actually out of a 67 gtx.So we will have to see if everything fits.My kit came with a new set of studs.Hopefully it will all go together smooth. Thanks for the advice!
