super six charter bbd vs holley 2880 results

the numbers are in street driving on the same route back and forth no speeding just going correct speed limit
#1Charter bbd two barrel (super six Carb) got me 15.33 Miles per gallon
#2 Holley 2280 2 barrel carb got me 19.64 miles per gallon


those are the numbers i got with a 1964 dodge dart gt 225 slant six 3.23 gears 215 70 r14 same timing both carbs were rebuilt floats correct measurement
another thing i found with the charter bbd carb response is not as great compared to the holley

I usually get right at 20 with my car on my work commute, a little better when I take a highway trip. I have the BBD and 2.76 gears in a 68. Maybe I should try a Holley.
