Got my super sucker today. as soon as a get gaskets and the studs I'll find out how they work.

Do I need to run a 4 hole gasket on top and a open on the bottom ?

2 open ones should be fine

4 hole on the top and open on the bottom. Otherwise gas will bleed out the top gasket and the spacer won't function as well.
