Hi everyone I've got a 72 plymouth duster project that I want to turn into a jack of all trades build. The car runs and drives fine but I want a more visceral feeling with goals of swapping a manual in it, throwing in a nice suspension and brakes, and building a car that is bad to the bone. I'm pretty much a YouTube mechanic so I will be asking a lot of dumb questions I'm sure.

Nothing too crazy, car started life as a gold duster with a 318. My uncles restored it, painted it orange, threw in a 360 married to a 727 out of junkyard and built it before having to sell it due to medical reasons. So my old man got it from them as a father-son project since I loved that car as a boy. Threw on some wheels and the shark tooth grill, a bigger carb and enjoyed it ever since. The car looks good from afar but I'm going to have to strip the paint and redo it with the body filler cracking on the door and lines throughout the car.
