We are finally making good progress on assembling the Power Hawk. For a few months, one thing after another caused slow progress, but we are back on track. Almost done with the wiring. Mark bought a beautiful wire harness from a guy who hand makes them. It wasn’t cheap, but it is beautiful. Once we’re done in the engine compartment, we’ll put on the hood and start on the interior. I think we’ll probably do the headliner first.

Those Stude Hawks were great and way ahead of their time.
As always, super nice work!

A couple years ago, I was walking the local big car show out by the big lake, and I came up upon an older couple in their 70s (like me). They had driven their Stude Hawk about an hour there. They had done all the work, including body/paint. Cool ride. A real driver! I forget what engine. Not the usual ultra shiny modern show car bc/cc thing, but so cool!

That's a sweet looking Hawk sir, and one of my wish list cars. If I had Jay Leno's money I'd have one for sure.
