so there are three belts on my duster
two 54.5 inchers for the alternator/A-C, and one 44.5 incher for the powersteering and cooling fan
I knew one on of the two longer ones was on its way out, but I wasn't too worried about it
taking of today I flung her around a corner, hard, and I noticed a rap-tap-tap under the hood
I figured that one belt finally jumped but I didn't think nothing of it
a few miles down the road I noticed my volt meter went dead
no big deal I figured the bad belt jumped the good one of, but I have a full battery, ill replace them tomorrow
and then it happened
the powersteering went out
I figured the same thing happened, the one belt popped of the last remaining belt
no biggy, I'm a man, I can drive a car without power steering
about half a mile after that I noticed the water temp gauge spiking
and then it occurred to me, the powersteering belt runs over the fan :banghead:
I managed to limp her home at idle, and ordered three new belts
