hi guys, newbie here.
I recently got a '66 dart, and when I put it in any gear the tires spin backward. it has fluid in it and the fluid looks clean and unburnt.
any Ideas what is wrong with it?

Auto? 3spd? 4spd?
and do you mean you roll backwards or you can drive in reverse in every gear there isnt a selectable forward gear?

oops sorry, it's an auto, 904 I think. it will shift into every gear, reverse drive, 2nd, etc. but to get the tires to move you gotta rev the slant 6 and when they do turn they spin in reverse. the linkage is working correctly.
