Good afternoon. I am posting this to see if anyone has experience with installing a TKX in a factory big block, 4 speed car. (Mine is a Formula S 383, 4 speed)
With the versatility of the TKX, is the factory shifter location a direct bolt in as they advertise? There is no way that I will remotely cut this car, and that is where I am looking for actual experience.

Thanks in advance,
Chris

You will need to cut on the car even for the TKX. There are several Post on here somewhere outlining a TKX install in an A body, its not as much as a TKO, but you still need to notch and cut open spots at least.

The closest You could've come was the Passon 855, but that turned into an unfortunate story/situation, so no cut-free fab-free swap I'm aware of. Gear Vendor over/under drive maybe better?

Yes, PLEASE do not cut up that car lol

Sounds like an awesome car

Brewers has 4 speeds where 4'th gear is an over drive and 3'rd gear is 1:1 ratio. Like a 3 speed trans with 4'th as over drive. Direct bolt into an original 4 spd car.
