The right side upper control arm mount on my 68 Barracuda needs help or replaced altogether any help with where I can get a mount repair kit would be much appreciated. Thanks:banghead:
I ran into a similar issue with a road runner, but after further investigation it made more sense to replace the rails to. As the brackets are are mounted to the frame rails and the brackets are only good as the rails. I ended up getting a set of rails from a parts car that included the control arm mounts. You can try posting a want ad on here. Or you can try this company.https://www.autorust.com/product-category/mopar/mopar-a-body/page/3/ I had used them in the past on a jeep that I did, not a bad product.
Thanks very much for the information, I used to have a 69 Roadrunner with a 440 six pack but it was in good shape, Any information is very much appreciated. Thanks Dave
I have a 67 barracuda that needed both replaced. I ordered a pair from classic industries, the drivers side was a perfect fit but the passenger side needed a bit of work to fit right but its possible it was only my car. I also remember paying less but that was two years ago.http://www.classicindustries.com/product/mopar/a-body-barracuda-1964-69/parts/mm8185.html
I need all the input I can get this is all new to me I just bought it and would like to get it on the road to Rt66 or just about anywhere.any help is much appreciated. Thanks Mopar Dave
IMO, if your replacing due to rust out take a good look at the top of the frame rail. They may not be much better. Before removing the old one take some good pictures, print them, and add accurate dimensions so you know where you came from.
As far as the ABS parts, what other suppliers have you got to compare them to? Check and understand their return policy before you order.
