I'm restoring a '67 Dart for my son that originally had a 273. That engine was long gone before we ever saw the Dart. We have V8 fender badges on our Dart but most of the cars we have seen on line and at shows don't have the V8 badge. I was thinking either the car didn't come with a factory V8 and never had them, or they were lost / removed during a restoration and the holes closed. Am I right in making those assumptions or is there some significance to the Badges like used only early or late production runs?
