Mine did not have the baffells ,so I got the groumets with the small slit it them.Well i pop out my PCV and it is still sucking a little oil I thought thoes groumets would keep all oil out. So I am now going to buy valve couvers with baffelle in them.just thought i would pass on they dont work perfect.

You'll always have some oil misting sucked in with any PCV system. You may have a blow by problem if it's excessive.

Ok good to know whan i remove the pvc there is a little smoke coming out the valve couver.I had a 318 years back that puffed a lot out but still ran like a champ. There is always some blow by or am i wrong ramcharger. This 318 was rebuilt with about 10 thou on it for milage.I also installed new valve seals springs retainers.never ends lol. This motor will have todo untill i rebuild my 360 maybe next year.

Yeah, there will always be a bit of blow by. Put your foot on the brake with the PCV out and give it some throttle. If you see it blowing smoke out like a locomotive, it's excessive. With only 10K on a rebuild it should be fine assuming it was rebuilt correctly at a good machine shop.

The very best test is a leakdown test. That will give you the true condition of the engine.
