valve cover repair

Anyone ever had success or have suggestions for repairing a valve cover like this? They're original commando covers and hate to trash them, but these may be trash.

Have it tig welded

You could maybe get it spliced together with MIG, but TIG is the way to go.

I had a 351C valve cover that had holes broken just like that and I managed to turn the MIG down low and got it fixed pretty nice. I did go back over it with a Dremel and dressed the welds.

Exhaust shops weld all day long and are usually pretty good. Might be worth a try.
