1.65 but you cant get the retainer and keepers installed with it at the lowest level (1.6) I tried and tried this morning it just wint work I'm gonna have to get the 1.4-1.8 one

Gotchya. I didn't think about that. duhhhh

I'm interested but dont want the same issues your having?
Looking to use it on a 340 setup.
You need anything in trade?
Couple more pics?

340 is the same valve height. So unless you have a narrower retainer it probably won't work. Unless I'm just doing something wrong! Which is possible Haha. I can get you some pics later this evening of the problem I'm having. I will get some pics of the tool in just a few minutes. I'm always willing to trade lol I could use a pushrod length tool and some checker springs, any miscellaneous parts you may have? PM me and we will talk about it.

I would think the retainer would be similar to yours. I'll wait for pics, like u said maybe something your doing wrong? I've never used one, so no help here.

The problem I'm having is the retainer sets on top of the tool so your loosing the thickness of the retainer in the height of the tool its 1.6 inches tall plus the thickness of the retainer there is no way to get the keepers in. There is a recess cut into the top of it for those narrow Chevy retainers to set in flush but mine dont I will take some pictures of the retainer and the tool installed on the head so you can see what I mean

That’s the way it SHOULD fit. It does NOT fit into the recess or anyone running a retainer bigger than 1.500 wouldn’t be able to use it.

If you want to verify this, set the height mic at 1.750 and measure the mid with your dial calipers. You’ll see that’s where the retainer fits.
