What brands does everyone recommend for forged aftermarket rods for small block? I am shooting for a stock 3.58 inch stroke W2 headed 360 with 12.5:1 compression and shooting for 600 Hp and hopefully 575+ ft lbs of torque. I posted a while ago asking for crank and rods advice. I decided I am going all out with a Sonny Bryant forged crankshaft. Now to decide on rods. I'll throw in the options I am considering, vote or tell me who you prefer please. I would highly prefer to use USA made products and not cheap/liable Chinese parts. I want the rotating assembly to be strong like it's making 800hp while it only makes 600 hp so also preferably H-beam rods. Thanks.

I voted for the K1’s. 90% of the rods out there are all Chinese. So pick your brand. Most of the time if a rod fails something else was wrong. I hope since you bought a Bryant crank you ordered it with 8 counterweights. That’s far more important than what brand rod you use.

I’ve used Compstars in both my stroker small blocks and wouldn’t hesitate to buy them again.

Compstar or K1 I think there the same rod . But I like the Scat procomp light and strong

Crank should be made to use SBC rods....... more choices available...... better bearing availability as well.

Oliver 6.200” if you’re looking for premium American made.
