What happened to parents being allowed to be parents?

My mother -in-law same thing. Planning names and baby showers at conception. It all culminated in me having her over-bearing *** removed from the birthing room.

Your baby, your decision, your house. If they want to be apart of it they'll respect your decisions.

like said, too many over extend their noses these days. And so what if it's a car site. there's a lot of like minded, down to earth people here.

A little advise for you and the wife.At some piont the two of you have to set your foot down and have a family talk and put every one in there place,as some family members fell they are the only ones in the world that can run a family properly, and you have to doit their way,as their kids run out of total control,go figure. As one with some 45 years of this,my family knows that I do it my way,bad or good, don,t like it,F*** off,and I don,t take if you come back know matter what. It,s your kid, your choise, and use good common sense in a name, allowing for no name,s that would cause mocking or have a name where you have a 2nd or 3thd BOB in the family, been there done that, not fun.If family members don,t like your choise, screw them,it,s your family, your kid, your life, and you will only be happy if you two make the choise that feels good to you guys, mrmopartech

As the saying goes, "Don't sweat the petty things, ...". I knew a guy in town that named his kid Gunner. He was proud of his choice until a few months later when he was telling some people in a bar about it and they started laughing. His last name is pronounced reeha and when you put the two together... I'm not sure what they renamed him but I'm betting their son is happy for the change.

Congrats on the coming new baby.

You can thank the all intrusive liberal America for that.

I heard that one a bit differently.

Couples last name is Rhea, and the girls fist name was going to be Dia.
