Have been working on my 1962 Dodge Lancer GT I just got and while rebuilding the Carb I found it badly damaged and now I will replace it. But as A temp fix I just added more gaskets to get a good seal. It started up great once and did not start again. I thought fuel issue but it seams it is ignition issue. If I take the Dist. and rotor cap off and play with the points it will fire right up. I am not sure how to work on the Dist. as it has an after market Electronic Ignition (sparkrite sx500) and I can not find any ifno on it. So I am looking for the best way to fix this. Original Ignition or an after market one.
