I was watching Mike Bello of Bello's Kustom build a trunk lid for a 36 ford and after he hammers the skin around the core, he used some type of pneumatic crimper to go over it.

The tool in question starts at 30:36 in the video.

Thanks for any answers to help me solve this.

Thanks Dog, but the Summit Racing link Rusty provided above is $9.00 less at only $123.99 and if I went that route I could use a 10% off racers coupon.

Plus no sales tax for me, so I could get it for $111.59 delivered.

I wonder if the Matco version is $250 better than the Astro version in the end, or if it's not a rocket science tool and they all do the same job?

Nice. I thought they might get you with shipping. Do they still ship free if you spent over a $100? Been a while since I have bought from them. For the amount of time you use it the Astro should be fine. I've had good luck with them. Just keep it oiled after use.

Yes, Summit Racing offers free shipping on orders over $109.00 which in today's World is still very reasonable.

The idiots that bought Jeg's are working on how to ruin the business because they require $199 in purchases before they offer free shipping.

Summit has to be killing them with this alone, along with all the other available items they offer that Jeg's doesn't.

When Jeg's sold out, I decided I was never buying another item from them.

I saw a used Matco on eBay for $139, not sure what direction I'll go. Off to the PRI Show in Indy for the day.

Eastwood has them. We have an Eastwood store about an hour away, been finding myself there more and more lately, I saw one while I was there looking for something else. They are mostly a mail order type place, but so now have 4-5 stores, I think mine is the farthest west in the US, near Chicago. I was asking about something while I was there, next closest is parma Ohio.
On another note they offer classes on different body shop tech in the warmer months , on weekends, I'm probably gonna go check them out when they start back up. (Have to see if they let the "students" bring projects or at least parts of projects in to be that class'es "guinea pig" for the session)
