Selection seems to be pretty thin on what's available these days. I just put Monroe gas shocks on it, but it feels really spongy/soft. I was leaning towards Competition Engineering drag shocks and will do it if the general consensus is that it's ok for a regular street car/not a drag car. I read "for drag application only". The KYB Gas adjust and Gabriel gas seem to my only 2 choices for regular street shocks. And the reviews aren't very positive for either of those. I should mention that it was a 6 cyl but now a small block

This will probably spark some haters, but when I bought my Charger it felt spongy and soft. I bought the KYB gas adjust shocks and it firmed up the handling just the way I hoped. Is it rougher over broken pavement and joints, yes, but in my opinion it was a good tradeoff for the more stable handling.

spend once and cry once: bilsteins

kyb's are absolutely horrible on anything except the smoothest of roads. gabriel, monroe or sachs are fine for general grocery getting.

drag shocks are for race cars. don't use them on the street.

Monroe's were like a dumpster fire on steroids for me.. KYB's are my preferred go to

THank you everyone! I really appreciate the input and advice. Haven't seen any Billsteins available. But good to know there's another choice. I'll stay away from the drag shocks. Car is just a cruiser. I'm gonna see about that trade with the guy from LA. Not too far from me if he doesn't mind the drive and make the trade. Thanks everyone.

I just got QA1 fully adjustable for the front, essentially can have them set up for drag or street with few clicks of a button. Cant confirm what they are like as car isnt drivable

Yeah, you should be faster with that automatic in your **** box…
*gasp*

how did you know?!??

also, there's three of us. one works the pedals, one the wheel and the other one the shifter and signals. cutting lights is not our forte.

Here's those monroes/ how they look if you're still interested. I still have to remove the front shocks, butthe rears are sitting on my bench now. less than a few miles on them.

I'm curious as to where you found a 70 foot long Duster!
