72 Dart 318/904. I had the steering column dropped today replacing the ignition switch. I found and replaced the time delay relay, turn signal flasher. I have key lamp and turn signals now. I looked all over for the emergency flasher and can not find it. I have a manual and says located on the instrument panel support. I'll start tracing from the fuse box or brake switch or remove instrument cluster. It might be easier to find if someone would tell me. Where should the emergency flasher be located?

behind the dash at the ash tray/radio. There should be 2,1 for the flashers and 1 for the turn signals

Speaking of turn signal flashers, does anyone make a solid state flasher that is not current dependent? If a turn signal light is out, then there may not be enough current to make the remaining light flash. Conversely, back in the 60s, I put a U-haul trailer on my Roadrunner and the lights blinked so fast it didn't look like they were flashing at all. I got pulled over on the Oakland Bay Bridge.

I believe there's a heavy duty flasher available that solves that fast flashing problem.

Well you don't post much but, I appreciate the explanation and picture. That is it! Had to look up under practically laying in the floor board. Great picture. I now have emergency/hazard lights. First time since I bought the cars years ago. Thanks!
