I have a factory 18 inch 7 blade fixed fan and a the same fan wirh a viscous clutch. My question is which one would work best in my 70 Dart wirh 440? Or there would be no difference? Thanks (22 inch rad with shroud)

A fixed fan will cool my 505 about 7-8 degrees better than a clutch fan of the same size , but I run the clutch set up just because street hemi`s came out with them, figure chrysler knew what they were doing !

I agree, go fixed fan. Clutch fan is only about fuel economy. Less drag when at driving speeds.

My dad always said... " The parts you don't add don't cause you no trouble" and "remember the KISS principal... Keep It Simple Stupid"

Both have served me well.

Mechanical fan no parts to brake

Ya I have both fans available to me and want to get rid of that finger slicer flex fan that is on there now. I just bought the car and that flex-fan is going.
