'74 Dodge Dart, 225 /6, A904. Federal p/s pump. High pressure line. Don't you just love PO crap. Been chasing a power steering fluid leak for weeks. Replaced the pump (http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/d...=Search_02869_5137387_1765&pt=02869&ppt=C0031) a couple days ago, still fluid dripping and now the pressure line looks wet. The pump has a male pipe to a male taper adapter in it, then a female swivel to a female pipe thread adapter, then a male pipe thread fitting crimped on the hose. Trying to source the hose and, for the Federal pump, it shows an O-ring style fitting on both ends (http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/d...=Search_02846_5137387_1765&pt=02846&ppt=C0031). Says it's for the "Chryler" pump and there's a different one for the Saginaw. Is this the correct OEM style hose? Makes sense on the gear box end, the hose sticks down into the box. Can I be sure that if I remove that adapter from the Federal pump that the O-ring fitting on the end of the hose will seat?

My 73 340 with federal pump uses o rings on both fittings, pump and steering box.
