Last time I went through Needles, and not that long ago, it looked like a frickin' ghost town.Needless gasoline is $6.25. Three miles into Arizona (away from I-40) its under three bucks.

It is. Spend twenty minutes across the river in AZ, and you'll do anything it takes to leave needless.Last time I went through Needles, and not that long ago, it looked like a frickin' ghost town.
Carlisle is great too. Close to Ohio for the other Nats show. Ocean city MD seems to be a huge show.My initial thought is California, but I’ve been there enough to know I don’t want to live there. Nothing against it, but as a Midwesterner, it’s just not for me,
Have some good friends in Pennsylvania who swear that Hershey is good. Never been to the big swap meet/show, but the pictures look impressive.
Ha my brother and sister live thereNo one mentioned Florida, spring and fall are the car seasons as summer is just too hot.
There is still a lot of car activities, we even have the largest car show in the county on Thanksgiving weekend at the Daytona International Speedway.Ha my brother and sister live there
That's why no one mentioned it
Quiet lol, we don't want anyone to know that. We're pretty picky East and Northeast of where you are.The PNW is worth looking at.

i drove my 71 fury in snow like that (well a snow drift)Hey, what's wrong with NY. We have great shows 5 months a year,....... maybe 5.

I consider myself lucky I am not from NY because my dad left there in 1955 and move to Florida, otherwise I would probably be a farmer from upstate NY as most of my extended family still lives there.Hey, what's wrong with NY. We have great shows 5 months a year,....... maybe 5.

You just described my place in arizona...... except you forgot the heat.If you have enough old classics, just have your own car show when you like and ask only close friends over!!
You know you live in the right state, when you see old classics on the road during the week with guys driving to work.
You know you live in the right state, and you take one of your projects out for a shake down (every day) , and it has no tags, no insurance, you were speeding..out in the country (who would live elsewhere!???) and the country deputy pulls ya over,,,, and just tells you cool ride bro!!!
You know you live in the right state, when you have 6-8 old cars sitting behind the barn, none run, and the county and neighbors give a chit.
NO smog test or safety tests either !!!!
The list is LONG!!!!!
