Which state has the best car culture?

Last time I went through Needles, and not that long ago, it looked like a frickin' ghost town.
It is. Spend twenty minutes across the river in AZ, and you'll do anything it takes to leave needless.
The last one-and-only drugstore/pharmacy in needles closed a while back, and their former customers are now getting bussed into Bullhead to fill prescriptions.

My initial thought is California, but I’ve been there enough to know I don’t want to live there. Nothing against it, but as a Midwesterner, it’s just not for me,

Have some good friends in Pennsylvania who swear that Hershey is good. Never been to the big swap meet/show, but the pictures look impressive.
Carlisle is great too. Close to Ohio for the other Nats show. Ocean city MD seems to be a huge show.

I live about 1 hour from carlisle and I never go LOL! It turned into a money pit i remember when the Chrysler show started there though back then.and was smaller back in 91 or so it was different back then i will say I met some great people there though these days I do local cruise ins stop park leave when ya want etc. or stay depending on if its a good time.

Hey, what's wrong with NY. We have great shows 5 months a year,....... Well, maybe 5, ........ 4, or 5........ sort of. :steering:

As far as big shows go Carlisle is the best by miles. Find somewhere you can hit Carlisle, shows in Hershey, the Nats in Columbus, and Moparfest in Ontario would be Nirvana, if you can deal with the winter weather. Someplace rural where you have room for garage space and cars. It would be nice if there was a local Mopar club to hang with

I would go upstate before south
It just the city area screws the rest of the state

If you have enough old classics, just have your own car show when you like and ask only close friends over!!

You know you live in the right state, when you see old classics on the road during the week with guys driving to work.
You know you live in the right state, and you take one of your projects out for a shake down (every day) , and it has no tags, no insurance, you were speeding..out in the country (who would live elsewhere!???) and the country deputy pulls ya over,,,, and just tells you cool ride bro!!!
You know you live in the right state, when you have 6-8 old cars sitting behind the barn, none run, and the county and neighbors give a chit.
NO smog test or safety tests either !!!!
The list is LONG!!!!!

You just described my place in arizona...... except you forgot the heat.

Seen this guy driving this around several times, caught it at my bank.
(No idea if it's real or not)
