After doing some research, I came to the conclusion that Weldcraft Wheels would be the best place to widen my wheels. Any body had them do some wheels lately? Just curious about cost without filling out their form...

I have a set of mag style hub caps which came originally on the car on the 14 in wheel. The wheels have the 5 x 4 in bolt pattern to mate with the orig. brake drums that are still on the car. Hopefully Weldcraft could widen the rear wheels to 7 in so I could run a 245/50-14 tire on the back.

Any help on this would be appreciated. Or is somebody already made the wheel it would be great. Standard backspacing would work.

Thanks, Boatman2

I would think they could widen them no problem. I had some stock ralley's (14 X 6) widened to 8 inch's so I could put on 265 50 14's on the Demon. It cost 50 per wheel but it was about 10 years ago. I used the stock back spacing and just had them add on to the front edge of the rim.
