Has anyone used 235/60/15s on the front of a 70-72 Duster? I've heard they'll fit, but don't know for sure.

I don't know man, that's a lot of tire. I have run a 215/60/15 on a 72 duster but it kinda rubbed the sway bar. that may be to much for the front. I have a 205/60/15 on my 69'cuda now and it rubbes a little

Wow why so much tire? That's all I got on the back of my 68 Dart!!

My friend had them on the front of his Dart Sport. 255-60-15s on the rear. 15X7 Cop car rims.

I had 235/60-14's on 14x6 wheels on the front of my 68 Barracuda and they cleared every thing fine. I went to 15x7 wheels with a 225/60-15 on the front and when you turn the wheel the tire turning in would just barely clear the front edge of the fender. I was backing up one day and compressed the suspension enough that the tire caught the edge of the fender and folded it up under. :(

The 225/60-15 is about .4" larger in diameter than the 235/60-14 and about the same .4" narrower and figured they would clear since there was more than that clearance with the 14's. I believe the difference is the width of the wheel moving the tire further out.

In anycase I have 215/60-15's on there and a freshly painted fender and all is well.

DEpending on the rim width and back spacing 26" is likely to hit. The 225/60-15 I had an issue with are 25.4" in diameter.
