I've been offered a convertor for my 360. Its for a 727 which is the transmission i have, it also has a 10" bolt pattern which will fit my TCI flexplate.
Is there any reason why this convertor cannot be used behind my 360, anything I haven't considered? This is not a stall query as the stall is OK.
thanks

is your flexplate balanced externally? does it have the cutout? if so, any internally balanced converter will do. if not, you need the counterweight on the converter.

Red, yes, assymetric external balance flex plate with the cut out section.
Besides the bolts that fix the convertor to the flex plate and the splines into the transmission, i wasnt sure if there were any other points of contact to consider.
I havent had a convertor out before.
