Will these transmission lines work?

This is one of those last minute thoughts...

I bought this tranny, and it was from a 72' Satellite. I kept the lines thinking... Cool I could use these! The problem is that I don't have a 72' Satellite, I have a 73 Duster! Do you think these might still work??

Also, if I need different ones, who sells transmission lines?? If I keep these... How do I clean them??

If their from a B-body they'll most likely be too long but you might be able to gently bend a couple of S shapes in them to take up the slack. I used to use brake clean to clean them up before I got a parts washer. If they don't work the Paddock sells them. That's where I got mine and they fit perfect.

I just looked and couldn't find anything specifically for a 73 Duster. I did find them listed for a 67-72 A-body. not sure why a 73 would be different. Here's a link to the ones for a 67-72 A-body

Is this a driver or a show car?

If it is a driver, don't local auto parts stores sell a rubber, high pressure hose that will work for power steering or transmission lines?

just a driver, I went to Autozone... they had nothing.

plus everything I did see was for a 727 transmisson. I have a 904. will that be the same?

if you are just talking about the steel tubing, why not just measure the overall length, go buy some various lengths from the local parts store, and bend some new ones yourself?

go to a hardware store that has a plumbing sectiong they have hoe there thats what i used for my tranny cooler lines but also when i had my 73 duster trust me 73 is weird i always found alot of stuff excluded 73 out of stuff alot idk why

Dont jake rig your car. buy some hard line and bend it yourself. I dont think b body lines are that much different. both cars a and b have the radiator right up to the fan and trans bolt to motors. Should be the same logically. if not hard ware store has brass or steel compression couplings so you could shorten the lines and hard connect back together.I cant believe everyone throwing advice to rig it up. Do it right and be done.

and for $45.00 they look pretty nice. Once again though it says for a 727 transmission. I don't know if the hook ups are the same or not?

Sorry if anyone thinks I gave bad advice. I was under the impression that these high pressure hoses were fine replacements that people have used with great success. I have bent my own lines for the Duster, it sucked. The previous owner of my 65 Barracuda chose the rubber tubing route.
I have bought 3 tranny coolers over the years and they all came with rubber lines. If the appropriate hose is used, I don't see the problem.

Just giving the man another option. If he doesn't like the idea, he won't use it.
