has anyone ever disassembled the wiper pivots? is it even possible? if so, what size is the clip that holds the pivot on? tia.

The wiper pivot is swaged on. you could grind off the swaging but then you would have to come up with a way to re attach the parts.

I am not sure about the upper end where the wiper arm attaches if that is pressed on or swaged as well.

What is your reason for wanting to disassemble the pivot?

They are reproduced and there is a zerk kit that allows for lube and old grease removal

You could grind off the bottom swage, drill and tap a hole, and use a bolt to retain the lever.

No c-clip. You'll have to grind off the swaged bit at the bottom. Could be fitted back on then secured with a bit of welding. I've got one disassembled now because the steel shaft is worn and sloppy at the upper bushing. You would think the bushing would wear out first. The thing that looks like it could be a clip is actually a wave washer, along with that there are 2 other very thin washers. Replacement bronze bushings are available although they are slightly longer that the originals.Hope this helps. Cheers
