Woodgrain shift knob spring

Anyone know the size of the spring that goes inside the woodgrain shift knob between it and the black button? I got the shift knob and button but the spring to my chrome shift know is to big.

That's perfect! Any ideas on where I can go looking for a spring? Just a local home depot or something?

It's going to be hit and miss. Bring a vernier to the hardware store and start checking.......Good luck.
