Would these leds work in the gauge cluster

its the first box and the second type. there 194s would they fit the socket? im going with white faced gauges so i want them to glow blue

Yes, but you will loose the dimmer.

i wonder if i could just fit some new gauges where the old gauges fit with some after market ones not the speedo just the alt water fiel and oil gauges like maybe 2 1/16 would fit?

Yep, if you have those little round one's, I did it on my 73 Duster.

If you have the same dash as a 73 Duster I can show you the gauges they are the three little Autometer's, they fit right in the three little holes perfect.

i have a 72 dart swinger i was planning to use these actually there called equus gauges

they are 2'' gauges

I was thinking about cutting out two of the gauges next to the speedo, and installing a tach right in the dash, then the two I cut out I'll just buy aftermarket ones for and place by the ash try. Thats what my plan was. I haven't started yet though. I'm not sure how easy it would be to cut that cluster?

I thought a Dremel tool would work good for that. Is that what you tried?

Hack saw =/ no jk lol yea, but i used a old cluster and i didnt take my time it cracked through the middle
