WTB: V8 K Frame - spool type

The deal I got on a K-frame for my big block conversion turned a bit sour when I tried to mount it in the car and discovered the bolt patern was 9/16" out of alignment.

Decided I need a fresh start so what have you? I already have the Schumacher BB mounts for the spool type so let's stick with that. Prefer local or someone willing to ship.

Did you get a spool mount k frame and is that what is out of alignment - the placement of the mounts? Is it definitely an a body k frame? If so, I'd cut the mounts off the K parallel to the ground, leaving part of the old bracket attached so you have something to weld back onto. Hang the K back in the car, and reinstall the motor in the car with the motor mounts attached to the block and the cut off ears attached to the mounts. See where they land, mark, disassemble and weld.
Maybe we can straighten out the one you got with a little cutting and welding.
