Got this from a resin caster.
I have a spot for slant six cars and always wanted to do this one.
It was above my skill set to do from scratch.
But after getting it in the mail, it's going to take a lot of work anyway.

are you going to build it "stock" or ready-to-race? 3 Webers or Hilborn injection, small slicks from the old stock car kits?

It will have to be stock.
The XR6 has an aluminum block and 3 weber sidedrafts.

So a long time ago, Le Roi "Tex" Smith built the XR-6. It was featured in Rod and Custom and Hot Rod and it was a winner of the Oakland Most Beautiful Roadster competition in 1963. AMT did a model of the car as an option to the 27 T-Ford kit.
