i have a chance to buy a 78 318 with edebrock intake and msd ignition and comes with tranny, dont know what trans is but it came out of a wagon for 300 dude said it dosent smoke but i cant hear it run as it is out of car and also no carb i have a friend that says guy is cool but im scared of buying something like that i dont need a boat anchor but need a motor any input would be appreciated as funds are tight and i dont know what trans is thanks
